Lume is a free system performance monitoring app for macOS. It's incredibly simple—once installed, you can view core system metrics including disk space, memory usage, battery status, network activity, and download statistics. For each metric, you can enable a corresponding menu bar monitor in settings, making it easy to see your system status at a glance.
We built Lume for a simple reason: we wanted a small, free monitoring tool. We weren't looking for feature-heavy solutions. The market is full of monitoring apps with countless features, but many include functionality we never use, and they often feel like they're constantly watching us.
Lume takes a different approach. It features a clean, minimal interface and focuses solely on core functionality—because we believe that's all you need.
